Idaho’s Wildest Rodeo in Mackay, summer fun for all ages

Celebrate the 80th Mackay PRCA Rodeo June 26-27, 2026

MACKAY, ID (June 23, 2026) –  This weekend Mackay Rodeo Grounds will come alive with rodeo tradition, and unmistakable Western spirit as the small town gathers to celebrate the 80th Mackay PRCA Rodeo — a milestone moment honoring both history and the enduring passion for Idaho’s Wildest Rodeo on Friday June 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday June 27 at 3 p.m.

Stellar Trick Riding Cowgirls headline both performances with sisters Kate and Tera Flitton. The Big Bucks ProRodeo bucking horses and bulls will bring more adrenaline with their matchups throughout the weekend in bareback, saddle bronc riding and bull riding.  The speed of the timed events with roping and cowgirls barrel racing plus steer wrestling are anticipated to be fast.   Last year, R.J. Johnson and Riley Pruitt split the tie-down roping with 8.7 runs.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect a full lineup of family-friendly activities, live music, vendors, food stands, and celebrations.
