April 11, 2021 (Buffalo, MN) –   The 66th Buffalo PRCA Championship Rodeo is June 24-26, 2021.  Minnesota’s oldest prorodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA).  All three rodeo performances will include “The Art of Trick Roping, Gun Spinning, and Whip Cracking” by cowboy Rider Kiesner, a world champion and Wrangler National Finals Rodeo performer.

“Rider Kiesner is the hottest act in ProRodeo right now. His peers voted him the 2020 PRCA Dress Act of the Year this past December.  We are bringing him and Bethany Iles to Buffalo for our fans. Plus his grandfather lives right here in Buffalo,” stated Greg McDonald executive director for the Buffalo Rodeo Association and president of GM Western Enterprises.

Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.buffalorodeo.com starting at $12 for children and $15 adults.  Thursday night all children 12 and under receive free admission.

“Our community is Buffalo Strong and each rodeo performance is dedicated to recognizing individuals and groups that contribute.  On Thursday we show our support for youth by providing all children free tickets and recognizing breast cancer survivors.  Friday we will honor our first responders and Championship Saturday we salute our active-duty military and veterans,” stated McDonald.

The historical Buffalo Rodeo grounds are located off Hwy 55 and are one of the few dedicated rodeo arenas in the state of Minnesota. The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. nightly, gates open at 5 p.m.

In addition to Kiesner performing is ProRodeo Announcer Davie Kimm a native of Minnesota and former Great Lakes Circuit Bronc Rider; Music Director Nikki Kimm, Bullfighters Luke Moore and Miles Jones along with Stock Contractor Westin Barnes, his wife Katelyn and family.
