CLN NFR Fashion Tip #1 – Plan to bring a clutch purse to the 2017 WNFR

If you plan on going to the Wrangler NFR this year from December 7-16th, you may want to read this! Here is more information on the new purse policy!

This year the new clear bag policy that various stadiums and the NFL have implemented will reach the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  The array of tooled leather handbags, oversized purses, business totes or backpacks are not permitted on the concourse.

The fashionable items need to be replaced with a small clutch purse or clear Ziploc bag at the Thomas & Mack from December 7 – 16.  Personally, I will miss seeing the beautiful handbags the women carry and will just have to spend more time at Cowboy Christmas admiring the booth displays.

Diana, Princess of Wales, was often photographed with her famous clutch purse.  The timeless fashion icon designed her clutch purses to match outfits.  No doubt cowgirls want an alternative to carrying a clear Ziploc bag to compliment their Wrangler attire.

Last year I carried a clutch purse to the PRCA Awards Banquet as a fashion accessory.  I was tired of carrying around a bulky purse all day and wanted a lighter option.  Britt with Gotta B Country Style (www.gottabcountrystyle.com) helped me select a clutch that was western in appearance.

In a telephone call with Hutch Leather Works, I mentioned the new policy. The duo of Todd and Angie Hutchins designed a leather clutch specifically for the upcoming WNFR.  While it might be hard to pare down the contents of every handbag, they determined the most frequently used items for their consumers.
“Our list of priorities was a cell phone, credit cards, money and room for a little touchup makeup.  So we made sure there were pockets for each of these and miraculously ended up with this sleek hand clutch,” stated Angie Hutchins, co-owner of Hutch Leather Works.
