Omaha, Nebraska – Big Bucks ProRodeo company has made a bold entrance into the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), as a new stock contracting firm buying out the well-established Mosbrucker card.
On Memorial Day in Manti, Utah the Big Bucks ProRodeo company brought a pen of bulls to match up against PRCA cowboys. During the Xtreme Bulls event their bull #812 Jimmy Hoe received the high marked score of 45.5 points topping all stock. The black-and-white bull weighing 2,100 pounds was bred by Darwin Ehlers of Star E Ranch in North Dakota. The bull has a 100% buck-off percentage in PRCA standings to date.

The bull #812 Jimmy Hoe bucks off Riggin Shippy in Bismarck, ND in January 2025.
“Our bull has proven to be a dominant force in competition. We are hopeful of seeing him at bigger venues in the future,” stated Cody Flitton, fourth-generation stock contractor and co-owner of Big Bucks Pro Rodeo.

Full Circle for Flitton
Flitton, a founding member of Take the Oath Xtreme Bulls, continues to push the limits of producing quality events and stock. This year his bull string above had a 100% buck off percentage in Manti.
The Take the Oath Xtreme Bulls event was established in 2021 by Flitton, John Larsen (former bull rider), and Steve Lund (former Utah House Representative). Dedicated to honoring service members and first responders, the event has become a premier showcase of top-tier rodeo talent for the local community.
In 2023, the top 50 PRCA bull riders recognized Flitton, Larsen, and Lund with the "Committee of the Year" award for their Xtreme Bulls event. The honor was presented during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo schedule of events at South Point Hotel & Casino.
While Flitton transitioned the event’s leadership to Jerry Honeycutt, his dedication to the sport remains unwavering. Continuing his great grandfather Kerby’s family tradition of breeding and raising elite livestock, Flitton solidified his commitment by purchasing the Mosbrucker rodeo card.
Flitton and his business partner Jody Burnside bring a wealth of experience and passion to the new company. Flitton is quick to acknowledge the Mosbrucker breeding program for nearly four decades. The longevity of the Mosbrucker brand in the Badlands Circuit was well established.
“They created an empire of their own in North Dakota by promoting and developing events in their home state and expanding with television viewership in the early days,” stated Flitton.
With top-tier stock already proving their dominance, Big Bucks ProRodeo is preparing to nominate its best bulls and horses for the 2025 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR)—promising an even bigger presence in the sport's most prestigious competition.

About Big Bucks ProRodeo: It began in 2024, but its history goes back to 1940. Big Bucks ProRodeo carries two legendary bucking horse bloodlines, bred to buck from two different families in two different rodeo circuits. Cody Flitton partnered with Jody Burnside, to purchase the Mosbrucker Rodeo Company. The Burnside family, with four generations of PRCA competitors, have competed in bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and calf roping.
Flitton’s great grandfather, D.A. Swanny Kerby wrangled wild horses from the slick rocks of Moab, Utah. Swanny had a dream of putting on wild west shows. He became part of the PRCA in 1940 with his bred to buck horses and bulls. Kerby’s livestock selection dates back to the first National Finals Rodeo in 1959. Flitton was born and raised into the Kerby rodeo company.
